North by Northeast (NXNE) is Canada’s answer to America’s South by Southwest (SXSW). Following a similar pattern, they will feature hundreds of music performances and combine them with film, art, and comedy.
However, another addition makes NXNE a more memorable event – gaming events.
The combination of music, art, and gaming makes NXNE a special place for artists, fans, and industry professionals to gather and share their passion for the things they love. Moreover, this event has free admission. Thus, making it inclusive and available for everyone.
This year’s NXNE will be held for ten days during the summer, from June 11 to 20. The event will take place at various venues around the city of Toronto. It will include a three-day music festival at Yonge Dundas Square.
For art exhibitions, comedy performances, and interviews, they will take place in the NXNE Festival Village section on Yonge Street. Lastly, it will take place in the Stack Market area for the gaming festival.
