Every winter, Montreal holds a fun and interactive art exhibition called Luminotherapie. You can find this fun event near De Maisonneuve, Sainte-Catherine, and Balmoral streets. This event is scheduled to end on March 14, 2021.
This year, Luminotherapie tries to bring something fresh for the visitors. When you come there, you will immediately find “Loop!”. This installation is designed by Olivier Girouard, Ottoblix, and Jonathan Villeneuve. You can sit on one of the 12 zoetropes and start the mechanism.
If you continue strolling, you will find “Entre les rangs” KANVA Architecture. Quebec’s ancestral farmland inspires this artwork. Near this artwork, you’ll discover Sebbe Joly and Bernard Duguay’s moonGARDEN.
Lastly, there is Iceberg and Spectrum. Iceberg was designed by ATOMIC3, and APPAREIL architecture and Spectrum was designed by HUB Studio. All the art and installations in this even were designed with health protocols in mind. Thus, there’s no need to worry about your health and safety.
